To do this a layer needed to be inserted inside each domino movie clip above the layer where the graphic was placed. A solid black rectangle slightly bigger than the domino was created and converted into a ΓÇÿbuttonΓÇÖ symbol. The alpha of this symbol was then reduced to 0 per cent so that the underlying graphic would be visible. Then an action needed to be added to the button, in this case

End On
The domino then turns because the movie clip timeline has been instructed to play.
